If you have any suggestions comment below. If you liked what you heard then, don’t hesitate to scroll down or to the top and subscribe and support WtW so we can keep adding content like this that the readers, and now listeners, want.
I’m also looking for a good WtW themed podcast banner image, so feel free to post a link to one below if you’ve got the image abilities.
Not gonna lie these podcasts are pretty sweet in terms of clearing up certain things, as some of the guides are obviously portray things very black and white, which is needed but ofc when someones actually speaking about the topics that are generally on most peoples minds it’s really helpful. keep up the good work!
Lots of good info, thanks amigo! I would add that due to hit combo, a better baseline target for ee is 1 or less chi and low energy since hit combo oft leaves us at 1 chi and no energy waiting as our last attack was bok. If you aim for 0 chi you are likely to end up sitting on an ee for too long. In practice / sims this is a much better goal to target. Great info on tod /serenity!
I would like to say that I appreciate you taking the time doing these podcasts, you hand us valuable information in a thorough way. I have a minor suggestion/request about the downloadable podcast file (I download and listen), .wav-files tend to be huge and if I’m not mistaken, unrendered (hence the size). Perhaps look into about getting a program that can render it (to mp3 for example) for you to make it smaller, but still with the same quality. I remember having the program Audacity in my younger years, you could record with it, render etc. The kbps should still be somewhere around 128-192 while rendering to not lose quality. Other than that, keep up the good work <3
That is good to know, I will try to do that. Thank you
One of my most difficult issues to overcome with monk is efficient EE usage. I feel horrid if i use it >50% energy or on 1 and above chi. And now SCK has been ruled out of the equation i fear it moreso. Is aiming for more realistic (1 chi low energy/ 0 chi mid energy) resource management advisable as practice, or do you think itll lead to bad habits?
You have to be able to know when you will get the most out of it when it’s up, if you know you can get more out of it by delaying it then do so, if not, then don’t delay it. It’s hard to just write down every scenario, much of it is intuition.
The only problem I have in regards to EE, is I have the legendary boots which give me so much spare chi to dump into BoK. Due to this I’m sure I miss at least one cast and did fall into the habit of dumping chi through SCK, defeating the purpose of EE.
Yes, the legendary boots give quite a bit more Chi, but also a lot more dps if you can use it.
